Dark scars on legs

Hi, I have been suffering from dark colored scars on my legs for quite some time now. I am not sure if it is called hyperpigmentation but my scars are due to injuries such as bug bites and cuts. Basically, what i am trying to say is that my skin tends to leave black/dark brown marks whenever i get a cut. I have tried so many skin lightening creams but nothing seems to work. Can u suggest any product that has proven results?
