Dark scarring from ingrown hairs below navel

I have dark scars caused from ingrown hairs right below my navel. I live in Florida so wearing a bikini happens quite frequently. What skin bleaching product should I use to help lighten these dark scars so they are not so obvious to people who really don't know they are there besides me?

Also, is there any way to prevent these ingrown hairs...I have stopped shaving the area hoping it would stop, but unfortunately they seem to keep coming back. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Colette, skin bleaching products are capable of exfoliating trapped ingrown hair, and eventually, the area of skin where these are used can lighten the discoloration as well. If the products work well with your skin type, I don't see any reason why this cannot be achieved.

However, if the ingrown hair comes back, you just have to find something else to take care of it.

For the dark scars, try a combination of Diana Stalder Papaya Kojic Soap and Lightening Cream.
