Dark scar right below my lower lip

What can i do to fade the dark scar right below my lower lip. i've had it for 8 years. it was caused by an injury when i fell on the floor and my lower lip got cut. Ever since then it looks like I have a tiny thin soul patch. The scar is on my face, right below my lower lip. Its a shade darker than my skintone. whenever I tuck in my lips, You can really notice it, looks like I have a soul patch. I've tried using cocoa butter & vitamin E, didnt really work much. I just want the scar to fade. so I won't have to hide it anymore. Thank You!
