Dark Neck

Hello Maria, I have been a faithful user of your skin whitening products for over one year and I love the amazing result. Not only did i get the lighter tone but I feel young, vibrant and clean at all times.

BUT, I have a problem which was there even before I used your cream. I have a darker neck than my face. IT is so obvious that I always wear a scarf to cover my neck. I dont like to wear open neck clothes and I feel sad. Even with the skin whitening creams, my face lightened and my neck lightened too. YET,my neck is still darker.

WORST of all, I do have 3 to 4 lines on my neck that looks like dirt line...no matter how I have scrubbed and cleaned, the lines are always darker that other areas on neck.

Is there any way to remove the dark lines on the neck? I tried applying the cream around the lines, they do peel off, become lighter (of course they hurt when peeled) and I feel good but remains darker. I dont have an even tone on my neck and hope you can help.

MY face is so light and feels so funny to have a darker neck than my chest, shoulder and face. Please help

Did you know I have some dark rings around my neck too? :)

It's just the way our skin is, although mine presumably is not as bothering as yours, so I understand why you feel that way.

Dark rings around neck can also be caused by poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or acanthosis nigricans. If you had yourself checked up before and have been found negative on either of these, I'm afraid your neck has lightened to a point that it only can allow. Otherwise, it should have improved in parallel with the effects on the rest of your face and body.

You may still improve it though, because you mentioned you scrub to clean it - DON'T.

The skin on the neck is thinner than facial skin. When you scrub it, it will get irritated and darker than before.

What I can suggest is continue using the whitening cream on the dark neck rings every other day only. IF it becomes reddish, itchy, skip the cream and wait until the skin heals to dry, then resume use of the lightening cream. Do this and see how it goes.

Again, do NOT scrub off peeling skin. Very gently, rub it off with your hands ONLY in the shower, when skin is wet.
