Dark elbows, knees, neck, genital area

by pete
(tx, usa)

hi my names pete and i want to know does the same advice with the cream work if you have type 2 diebetes? ive had embaressing rings around my neck and awful dark knees and elbows. ive felt bad half of my life. i just really wamted to know if this would actually help me to. thank you for your time.

Answer:

Hi Pete, the problem with diabetes is healing. Diabetic persons tend to heal wounds slow and are prone to infection.

Skin lightening will involve skin peeling and although it won't necessarily cause wounds, it is possible that peeling can be a problem when skin needs to restore its original condition, especially if you have not done this before.

To be safe, ask your doctor if it is safe to use skin lightening product to treat your skin discolorations. If your doctor gives you a go, you can get back to me and I will suggest a solution for you (click the "Comments" link below this page to post an update).

Hope I could be of further help to you.

Maria
