Dark Crease Line

Hi, I am a male with a dark crease line running across my belly. It is very noticeable because my body is normally light-colored. I don't go to the beach albeit the fact that my body looks tone and fit. I feel that this dark crease line stands out too much.

In the past months I have been using *edited* after being recommended but I haven't seen a dramatic change. I was wondering if a skin whitening cream would help make my dark crease line look lighter.

Also I want to know why mine is dark compared to my friends and family who only get a red line which fades. Thanks!
