Dark armpits, elbows, and groin area
by joanne
(saskatchewan)
i have polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance which has caused me to have dark velvety skin on my armpits elbows and groin area. i tried lustra skin bleach and didnt see any change. how is your product different and will i see results???
Answer:
Hi Joanne, PCO and insulin resistance can exhibit the symptom of hyperpigmentation as an indirect effect, where the skin joints become darker - underarms, back of neck, inner thighs, etc.
Skin lighteners can only treat epidermal pigmentation and the results are cosmetic and temporary. Meaning, if the cause is beyond skin deep, the dark spots will not go away totally. Your best bet is to treat the underlying medical condition and you'll have a better chance of treating the pigmentation successfully.
When you're ready, let me suggest that you try Diana Stalder Papaya Soap and Lightening Lotion on the affected areas. Use once a day at bedtime.
Hope that helps.
