Dark areas around mouth and cheeks

Hi, I need a cure for dark areas around my mouth and chin and my upper lip is also dark and my cheek bones are brown. I used to be fair but now i have brown patches at these areas i am so emotionally disturbed. Please help.

Hi Mariam, there are many factors causing hyperpigmentation on face - unprotected sun exposure, hormonal change, birth control pills, pregnancy, etc. For women especially, darkening on this area is frustrating because it appears like a moustache.
