dark area around mouth

Im pakistani and have a medium toned skin, but the skin tone around my mouth area is much darker compared to the rest of my face, iv tried several skin whitening products to help lighten it but nothings worked, please help me and suggest some sort of treatment.

Hi Sara, the mouth area is thin and sensitive. For one reason or another, discoloration on this part of the face seems to be now very common, and more individuals come out with the same problem. As I've emphasized, make sure the darkness around the mouth is not caused by any skin disorder, and can be checked by a dermatologist.

One solution we can recommend is to use Diana Stalder Lightening Cream. Apply once a day at bedtime until you see an improvement in probably 2-3 weeks. The affected area will become sun sensitive so make sure you wear sunscreen when you go outdoors at daytime.

The same problem can recur so maintenance is suggested with the lightening cream at least 1-2x a week. :)
