can hormones be a cause of dark inner thighs?

by Blanka
(New Zealand)

If hormones contribute to dark inner thighs then how does one either produce more or less of that hormone to stop the thighs from darkening?

Answer:

Hi Blanka, if hormonal imbalance is the probable cause of dark inner thighs, genes and certain medications and supplements might be contributing to dark inner thighs then. Taking birth control pills and stress are a few factors, so it's either you discontinue or change pills (which can be of little help if your genetics would react just the same), or reduce your stress level.
