brown spot on my arm

Ok i have had a patchy brown spot on my arm forever now and it just appeared one day. A dermatologist said its from getting hit in my arm or something like that. But i would just like to know what i should use to remove it because its driving me crazy! Im so self concious of it so it would help alot. Thank you!

Hi Katie, if the dark spot on skin is beyond the epidermis caused by internal factors, skin whitening creams can only treat topical pigmentation. It may lighten the discoloration but not totally remove it. At any rate, it may not harm if you try the whitening cream and apply it once a day.
