body darker than face and chest.. nothing works

by Leyla
(new jersey)

I never heard anyone having this problem but the outter sides of my arms, my stomach, and especially my butt, and back are darker than the rest of my body. its really obvious because my face chest a the other sides of my arms are my normal skin tone. I'm afr. American and have excema which comes from time to time.

I've considered at home glycolic peel for my body since doing it at a spa would be lots of money.... I really want to be even toned so I can actually wear a bathing suit, what other options do I have... I'm sooo desperate!

Answer:

Hi Leyla, a glycolic peel might be too strong for your eczema-prone skin, which is considered sensitive. If skin is all healed and dried up from any soreness and redness from eczema, then it's alright to start a mild skin lightening regimen. It may take more time than generally a few weeks, so be patient.

What I can suggest is Dermaline DE Black Soap and Whitening Lotion. Use once a day nightly.

That would be a more affordable solution for you. Hope it works well with your skin type. :)
