Black soap / CB pills

Good morning Maria, I have been using the CB pills and the Diana Stalder Black soap for almost two weeks. Wednesday ,1/27/10, will make two weeks. I have to say my skin was in good condition before, but it is absolutely glowing now and it is so smooth!
I am almost tempted to maintain this skin tone. I have beautiful caramel colored skin...but now it has a brighter look and a rosy glow!
It has made me realize that I do not necessarily want to be lighter. I want even color and that rosy glow.
I realize that everyone, no matter their skin tone should have a rosy glow, because we all have red blood! But because my face is still darker than the rest of my body (face is caramel, body is caramel with a wee bit of milk added. Hope that makes sense!),I will continue with the products.
You are right, there is no reason to use the soap twice a day. I think twice a day is too much. My skin has gotten more beautiful w/o going through that dry ashey stage. I use my moisturizer as you suggested.
My questions are:
1) What has worked so quickly, the pills or the soap? I doubt the pills have worked so fast (but I do not know). So it has to be the black soap.
2) Will my skin maintain this glow, even after I am on the maintenance program? Or is this just something that happens in the beginning of using the products?
3) I would like to remove spots from my back as well. Would the black soap work for this or is the papaya soap better? I would love to have a spotless back before summer rolls around.
4) Which ingredient in the black soap causes the skin to slough off? I do not see any AHA's in the ingredient list.
5) How can arbutin be hydroquinone derived, but not contain hydroquinone?
6) What gives the black soap its black color?
Thanks Maria,
Your advice has made me prettier and happier!
Answer:
Hi Debbie, that is so great! Glad to hear your wonderful experience with our skin whitening products. :)
Some people don't realize that skin whitening / lightening is not purely intended to lighten skin alone, but as a solution to hyperpigmentation and/or make skin brighter with a glow.
Now let's get to your questions -
1. Yep, it's the black soap, because it's the topical skin lightener directly used on skin.
2. You can maintain it from that point. However, some of the skin's enemies - sun damage, pollution, bad diet, stress, etc. - all contribute to the loss of the skin's glow and suppleness, even if you regularly use your favorite skin product.
Maintenance will only require you to use the black soap still daily, but no leave-on time anymore, just as a regular facial wash, once at bedtime or daytime. At any time your skin feels dry, you can skip for a day or two, but the moisturizers still daily to keep skin hydrated.
3. The back area is thicker-skinned, so the papaya soap is a better option.
4. It's arbutin as its active skin whitening ingredient.
5. Hydroquinone comes in 2 forms - synthetic and natural. It's the synthetic hydroquinone that's harmful. So arbutin is actually a plant hydroquinone "alternative", rather than a "derivative", and safer.
6. Good question. The black soap gets its color from plant ashes because of its mineral properties to address pigmentation, cleansing and moisturizing benefits.
Whew! Keep them going if you have more. :)
Take care,
Maria
