Black skin for pregnancy

by Tahmina
(USA)

hi,my name is tahmina.my skin was medium light.now i am light dark skin after child birth.my age is 29 .my baby is 28 months old. but still i have light dark skin .what will i do and i losses my hair. iam very worried for that .please give me good advice.

Answer:

Hi Tahmina, hormonal changes during pregnancy mostly affect skin and hair. Dark skin pigmentation and hair loss are normal, even after giving birth. The good news is, yes, you can do something about it.

For hair loss, just a little 'tlc' -

1. Avoid tying hair tightly such as pigtails, braids, weaves or rollers. This can stress your hair more.
2. Eat fruits and vegetables high in flavonoids because strengthen hair follicles and growth.
3. Look for biotin and silica in shampoos and conditioners that you use.

For dark skin spots, go to our Diana Stalder Skin Whitening Products page and take a moment to read the "Quick Product Guide" to choose the product/s best suited for your type of skin and age.

Pregnancy hyperpigmentation usually fade away after the child-bearing months, although some dark spots stay. Hope you find the right skin lightening solution here.

yaa i had too.. my skin was very fair comlextion before my pregnancy but now my baby is 6 months old i have still blamish and dull skin on my face i am taking green veg and lots of dairy product ,folic acid too ....... i am givig breastfeeding to my baby i am using anti aging cream for face but no good result can somebody help me for my blemish and dull skin?????????????????/

Answer:

Hello, pregnancy AND nursing can cause hyperpigmentation. It is not recommended to use any skin lightener until after giving birth AND nursing. Until then, some dark spots fade away in time, may take several months, but some stubborn discoloration does stay on skin.

When you're ready, try the Dermaline Black Soap Lightening Kit and use as instructed, once a day. Hopefully, that'll bring the glow on your skin after a few weeks. :)
