Black Licorice Soap & Acne wash

by Dom
(NC)

Hi Maria, I have very sensitive skin and wanted to know can the black licorice soap be used alongside with my daily acne wash, or should I substitute the soap for the acne wash?wD

Answer:

Hi Dom, try using the black soap alone for the first week or two. It has a gentle microdermabrasion formula that eliminates dead skin cells, excess dirt and oils that to some level, can control acne as well.

If it is not enough to control your acne, then you can use the acne wash too. But generally, I do not recommend using any skin lightener with other acid-based product with glycolic, salicylic or alpha hydroxy acids. This might interfere with the skin lightening regimen process.

Your skin type is unique to you, so do whatever works best.

Maria
