An Unwanted Tan and Hyperpigmentation

by Anne
(USA)

Dear Maria, I recently stumbled to your site and I am already excited to try out your products. I'm 17 years old, my natural skin tone is medium light, but I have an unwanted tan during Spring break that is fading but not fast enough. I wish to lighten not only my face but also my body as well to make it all even.

I also suffer from hyperpigmentation from a recent bout of acne, (multiple red marks on my cheeks and chin) I have now gotten under control, is there a kit you carry that can help with the red marks?

One last question, what is the difference between the lightening lotion and the cream? Can the lotion be used on the face as well and vice versa?

Thank you so much for your time! I look forward to your response and shopping with you soon! :)

Regards,
Anne

Answer:

Hi Anne, since you're 17 years old, I would recommend the use of a skin whitening soap. Younger skin tend to respond faster to skin whiteners. All you have to add to your regimen is at least an SPF 45 sunscreen.

Try Diana Stalder Papaya Kojic Soap.

You can also use the Papaya Soap for the face. Though the red marks are not guaranteed to fade soon, because the redness indicates they are still fresh marks, it can hasten its healing, can become brownish, and eventually fade away. If the soap works well for you, it can actually control your acne at some level because of the exfoliation process.

To answer your question about the whitening lotion and cream, the lotion (best for body) is less potent than the whitening cream (best for face and dark spots).

If after using the soap for a month and you don;t see much result, then that can be the right time to decide if you will need the whitening lotion and/or cream. :)

Differences Between Glutathione and L-Glutathione?
by: Anne

Hello Maria,

Thank you SO much for your help. I really appreciate it and cannot wait to order from you! :)

I was just wondering what the differences are between glutathione and l-glutathione? Which of the two are most effective at whitening? And is 500mg sufficient for whitening?

Also, how much Vitamin C would I have to take along with the glutathione?

Thank you so much for your help and I appreciate hearing from you soon! :)

Regards,
Anne

Answer:

Hi Anne, it is L-Glutathione that is used for skin whitening. 500mg is not sufficient to achieve a skin whitening effect, but between 1500-2000mg per day. It is the same for Vitamin C.

You're welcome,
Maria
